The Importance of Date Night and What I Wore

Life has been so busy lately, honestly, I think the busiest it has ever been. Though I feel overwhelmed at times with the thought of "I can't do it all" I am really enjoying this process because I feel like I am working hard to create the life that I want to live. That is what this blog, my brand, me, is/am all about. Living and creating a life just as I was created to. I do what I do to encourage people to do the same. We all have dreams and desires of what we want our life to look like. What jobs we want to have, and so much more. Sometimes that stuff doesn't come easily - sometimes it seems like it will never happen actually. In those moments I believe that you have two options...1. Give up and settle...2. Create the career and life you want. Do what you can with what you have. Believe that God wants and has the best for you. Use His help. Work your butt off (not literally...make sure you're still getting those squats in lol).

I said all of that because I feel like I am in option 2 of my life right now. I'm busy and working hard. Though that's good, it's important to take time for yourself and your loved ones. That's what keeps you from burning out. One thing I make sure to do every week no matter how busy I am is go on a date with my husband. It's so important to me and honestly what keeps me going throughout the week - knowing I had that to look forward to. This week we went and played a game of mini golf, followed by a really nice dinner. I loved it. I kept this date night look a little more casual since we were going to somewhere where there was mostly kids and games. This UFO patched tee from Zara was the perfect option because it totally made me feel like a little kid again. Tee's like this allow you to have a little more fun with your look and honestly will look great at any age. As long as you wear it with confidence. If you're in your 40's for example and feel dumb wearing the tee, and let it show, then you'll look dumb. Confidence is what get's rid of age when it comes to style. So be confident and wear what you want to wear and what you feel good in!
